Day Wise Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival Njp Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport and Transfer to Gangtok

Upon your arrival at NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to Gangtok. The journey to Gangtok will take approximately 4 to 5 hours, covering a distance of 130 kilometers. Once you reach Gangtok, check-in at the hotel and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 2: Tshangu Lake & Baba Mandir Day Trip

Begin your day with a delightful breakfast and embark on a thrilling day trip to Tshangu Lake and the renowned Baba Mandir. Tshangu Lake, located 43 kilometers away at an elevation of 12,400 feet (3,780 meters), presents a captivating spectacle with its pristine waters reflecting the snow-capped peaks. The revered Baba Mandir, situated 16 kilometers from Tshangu Lake at an altitude of 13,100 feet (3,994 meters), is a sacred shrine dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, an Indian Army soldier who passed away in 1968. The journey to both destinations is equally exhilarating, offering awe-inspiring vistas of the majestic mountains and valleys. After immersing yourself in the beauty of the lake and paying homage at the shrine, return to the hotel in the evening for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Day 3: Explore Gangtok in the Morning and then Travel to Pelling

Begin your day with a half-day (04 hrs.) sightseeing tour in Gangtok. This tour will take you to Jhakri Water Falls, as well as the Do-rul Chhorten, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom, and the Flower Show. Please note that the Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom, and the Flower Show are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, local festivals, and state & national government holidays.

After the sightseeing tour, you will be transferred to Pelling, which is located at an altitude of 6000 ft and is approximately 118 kms away from Gangtok. The journey to Pelling will take around 4 hours.

Day 4: Full-day Pelling Sightseeing Tour

Following breakfast, we will embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Pelling. Our itinerary includes visits to the Pemayangtse Monastery, Chenrezig Statue, and Skywalk. After an early lunch, we will continue our sightseeing by exploring the Rimbi Waterfalls, Khecheopalri Lake (6000 Ft / 1829 Mts), Kanchanjunga Waterfalls, and Rabdentse Ruins. We will spend the night at the hotel.

Day 5: Transfer from Pelling to Kalimpong & Half Day Sightseeing Tour in Kalimpong

Following breakfast, make preparations for a delightful journey to Kalimpong (4078 ft/1243 mts, 116 kms / 5-6 hrs). This picturesque town, nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, is renowned for its abundant greenery. Alongside breathtaking views of the Himalayan landscape, Kalimpong offers a rich historical experience with its vibrant local culture, bustling market, and numerous captivating tourist attractions. Take pleasure in the scenic beauty along the way, with shops offering unique antiques and local handicrafts that are worth exploring. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and settle in comfortably. Later in the day, embark on a half day sightseeing tour of Kalimpong, which includes visits to Dello hills, Flower Nurseries, Jang-Dong-Palriffo Brang, Durbin Dara Hills, and the well-preserved grounds of Dr Graham's Homes complex, which features a historic church. This complex was established in 1900 by Rev. Dr. J A Graham, a Scottish missionary. Conclude the day with an overnight stay at your hotel in Kalimpong.

Please note: This day tour may be feasible, but it could be quite demanding and is subject to weather, road, and traffic conditions. Guests are advised to commence this tour early in the morning, before 8:00 AM.

Day 6: Departure from Kalimpong and transfer to NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, make your way to NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport (413 Ft / 126 Mts, 75 Kms / 03 to 04 Hrs.) for your onward connection. The tour concludes with cherished memories.

-When traveling to Tshangu Lake, Nathula Pass, and Baba Mandir, it is mandatory for customers to carry a valid photo ID proof. The accepted forms of ID proof are limited to Driving License, Voter Card, or Valid Passport.
-NRI, OCI, PIO Card holders, and Foreign Nationals are not permitted to visit Baba Mandir and Nathula Pass. However, they are allowed to visit Tshangu Lake with a valid permit. Additionally, children must be 2 years or older to visit Tshangu Lake.
-Please note that Pan Card and Aadhar Card are not accepted as ID proof for visiting Nathula Pass, Tshangu Lake, and Baba Mandir. The accepted forms of ID proof are Driving License, Voter Card, and Valid Passport.
-It is important to be aware that most 2-star and 3-star hotels only provide mattresses and not extra beds.
-Please be advised that in certain circumstances beyond our control, such as local strikes or natural calamities, there may be last-minute changes to schedules and itineraries.
- Some areas do not have telephone or internet networks.
- The journey between two places in the North-east may take longer than expected due to poor road infrastructure.
- The top speed in certain areas may be restricted to 30 km/hr.
- NRI, OCI, PIO Card holders, and Foreign Nationals can visit Lachung, Yumthang, and Yumesamdong with a valid permit.
- It is not recommended to visit Lachen from January 1st to March 15th as the roads are closed due to snow.
- Cars are not available for personal use and will only be provided for point-to-point transfers as per the itinerary.
- When driving in hilly areas, the speed limit is 30 km/hr.
- In hill stations, AC is non-operational in vehicles to prevent damage or breakdowns.
- Commercial vehicles are not allowed to play music in several hill areas to prevent accidents.
