Day Wise Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival

Upon your arrival at NJP Railway Station or (IXB) Bagdogra Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to Gangtok. The journey to Gangtok will take approximately 4 to 5 hours, covering a distance of 130 kilometers. Once you reach Gangtok, which is situated at an elevation of 5412 feet or 1650 meters, you will check in at your hotel and spend the night there.

Day 2: Tshangu Lake & Baba Mandir Day Trip

Begin your day with a delightful breakfast and embark on an exhilarating day trip to Tshangu Lake and the renowned Baba Mandir. Tshangu Lake, located 43 kilometers away at an altitude of 12,400 feet (3,780 meters), presents a captivating spectacle with its pristine waters reflecting the snow-capped peaks that surround it. The New Baba Mandir, situated 16 kilometers away from Tshangu Lake at an altitude of 13,100 feet (3,994 meters), is a revered shrine dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, an Indian Army soldier who passed away in 1968. The journey to both destinations is equally thrilling, offering awe-inspiring views of the majestic mountains and valleys. After spending some time at the lake and the shrine, return to the hotel in the evening for a comfortable stay.

Day 3: Journey from Gangtok to Darjeeling

Embark on a scenic journey to Darjeeling, situated at an elevation of 6710 Ft / 2046 Mts. Covering a distance of 115 Kms, this transfer will take approximately 4 to 5 hours.

Day 4: Darjeeling Full Day Sightseeing Tour with Tiger Hill (10 Points)

Good morning! Start your day with an exciting excursion to Tiger Hill, Ghoom monastery & Batasia Loop. After a satisfying breakfast, prepare yourself for a comprehensive tour of Darjeeling's most captivating attractions. We will explore the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, and enjoy a breathtaking Darjeeling Ropeway Ride for stunning views. Don't miss the chance to climb the Tenzing-Gombu Rock and visit the Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre, the Japanese Temple, and the Peace Pagoda. Conclude the day with a panoramic view of the Tea Estate before returning to the hotel in the early evening. In the evening, take a leisurely walk along Mall Road to admire the picturesque views of Darjeeling or indulge in some shopping at the local market area. Spend the night at the hotel and wake up rejuvenated for the adventures of the next day.

Day 5: Departure Darjeeling and transfer to Njp Railway Station / (Ixb) Bagdogra Airport

On the fifth day, after having breakfast, you will make your way to NJP Railway Station or (IXB) Bagdogra Airport (at an elevation of 413 Ft / 126 Mts, approximately 100Kms / 03 to 04 Hrs. drive) for your onward connection. Tour Ends.

- The vehicle provided for the booking will be given as mentioned.

- In case coupons are not available, sightseeing will be provided at 10:00 am after breakfast.
- Valid photo ID proof must be carried by customers while traveling to Tshangu Lake, Nathula Pass, and Baba Mandir.
- The accepted photo ID proofs are Driving License, Voter Card, or Valid Passport.
- NRI, OCI, PIO Card holders, and Foreign Nationals are not permitted to visit Baba Mandir and Nathula Pass.
- They are allowed to visit Tshangu Lake with a valid permit and must be 2 years or above in number.
- Pan Card and Aadhar Card are not accepted as ID proof for visiting Nathula Pass, Tshangu Lake, and Baba Mandir.
- The accepted photo ID proofs are Driving License, Voter Card, and Valid Passport.
- Some areas do not have telephone or internet networks.
- The journey between two places in the North-east may take longer than expected due to poor road infrastructure.
- The top speed in certain areas may be restricted to 30 km/hr.
- NRI, OCI, PIO Card holders, and Foreign Nationals can visit Lachung, Yumthang, and Yumesamdong with a valid permit.
- It is not recommended to visit Lachen from January 1st to March 15th as the roads are closed due to snow.
- Cars are not available for personal use and will only be provided for point-to-point transfers as per the itinerary.
- The speed limit for driving in hilly areas is 30 km/hr.
- In hill stations, AC vehicles may not have operational air conditioning to prevent damage or breakdowns.
- Commercial vehicles are not allowed to play music in several hill areas to prevent accidents.
- Customers are responsible for paying entrance fees to museums, monasteries, gardens, or any other sightseeing spots directly at the destination.
- Hotels in the area usually provide mattresses and roll overs as a supplement to extra beds for extra persons sharing the room or children with extra beds.
- The vehicle provided will be exclusively used for the group according to the itinerary on a point-to-point basis, and it will change depending on the sector.
- Credit cards and travelers checks are not widely accepted in the North-east region.
- The air conditioning will only be turned on when the car is in motion. When traveling in the plains, the clients will have the AC switched on. However, when the car is traveling uphill, the AC will be switched off.
- Most hotels in the North-east do not have elevators, so guests will need to climb stairs to reach their rooms. If anyone in the group has health issues such as high blood pressure, breathing problems, knee or heart conditions, or cannot climb to higher floors, they should inform the staff.
- The hotels in the North-east are generally basic and may not be of the same standard as hotels with similar star ratings in other parts of India.
- Since the vehicles and drivers change frequently, it is important to be cautious with personal belongings. Once left in the vehicle, the chances of retrieving them are very low.
- During check-in at the hotel, guests may be asked to make an advance or security deposit, which will be refunded at check-out, minus any charges for items taken from the mini-bar or other additional services.
