Day 1: Cochin Arrival & Transfer to Munnar - (130 Kms - Approx 4 Hrs)

Upon arrival at Cochin, you will be transferred to Munnar. Munnar is a truly mesmerizing destination, a haven of serenity and tranquility that cannot be captured in a single image. Located at an elevation of 1,600m above sea level, Munnar boasts endless tea plantations, pristine valleys, and majestic mountains. As you ascend, you will often find yourself above the clouds, witnessing misty veils clinging to the mountain peaks. The forests and grasslands here are home to a variety of exotic flora, including the Neelakurinji/Strobilanthes. This unique flower bathes the hills in a beautiful blue hue once every twelve years, with its next bloom expected in 2030. En route to Munnar, you will have the opportunity to visit the Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. The Cheeyappara Waterfall cascades down in seven magnificent steps, while Valara boasts a series of waterfalls surrounded by lush green forests. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Full Day Sightseeing Tour of Munnar

Embark on a delightful sightseeing tour of Munnar after a satisfying breakfast. Begin your exploration by visiting the magnificent Mattupetty Dam (additional ticket price), a concrete gravity dam nestled amidst the mountains. Marvel at the captivating sights that Mattupetty has to offer, including the sprawling tea plantations, lush rolling grasslands, and the enchanting Shola forests that surround the area. These forests are a haven for trekkers and home to a diverse range of bird species.

Next, make your way to Kundala Dam (additional ticket price), where you can witness the breathtaking beauty of the Neela Kurunji flowers. These rare flowers bloom once every twelve years, adorning the hills and valleys surrounding Kundala Lake.

Enroute, don't miss the opportunity to visit Echo Point and Pothamedu View Point. Echo Point is a picturesque spot that boasts lush green landscapes, while Pothamedu View Point offers a mesmerizing view of the coffee, tea, and cardamom plantations. These destinations are perfect for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers, providing ample opportunities for leisurely walks and invigorating treks.

Day 3: Transfer from Munnar to Thekkady - (85 Kms - Approximately 3 Hours)

After having breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Thekkady.
Thekkady is renowned for its abundant natural spices and is considered a paradise for them. The Periyar forests in Thekkady are among the most exceptional wildlife reserves in India, covering an area of 777 square kilometers, including a 26-square-kilometer artificial lake.
Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and later embark on a sightseeing tour to explore the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary (additional ticket price applies). This sanctuary is home to various wildlife species such as wild elephants, sambar, tigers, gaur, lion-tailed macaques, nilgiri langurs, and more. While the place may sometimes resemble Disneyland-in-the-Ghats, its picturesque mountain scenery and jungle walks offer a delightful experience. In the evening, enjoy a boat cruise on the lake (additional cost) to spot wild animals. Spend the night at the hotel.

Day 4: Journey from Thekkady to Alleppey - (135 Kms - Approximately 4 Hours)

Following breakfast, complete the check-out process at the hotel and make your way to Alleppey, a destination renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty and often referred to as the "Venice of the East". Alleppey is famous for its backwater cruises and boat races. Upon arrival, settle into your hotel or houseboat and embark on a delightful cruise (if staying in a houseboat) along the Narrow Canal, surrounded by picturesque Paddy Fields, Coconut Lagoons, and Coir Villages in Alleppey. Day 5: Journey from Alleppey to Kovalam (160 Kms - Approximately 4.5 Hrs)

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, it is time to check out from the hotel and make your way to Kovalam. Kovalam is a world-famous beach destination that boasts three beautiful crescent-shaped beaches. It is often referred to as the "Paradise of the South".

Upon arrival, proceed to check-in at the hotel and take some time to relax in the comfort of your room. Kovalam is a place where you can witness golden sands during the day and silver sands at night. Day 6: Full-Day Excursion to the Enchanting Kovalam

Next, we proceed to Vellayani Lake, a magnificent freshwater lake nestled in the Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala. This sprawling lake is the largest of its kind in the region and offers a serene ambiance that is sure to captivate your senses. Our exploration continues to the Halcyon Castle, also known as the Kovalam Palace, a splendid architectural marvel constructed in 1932 during the reign of the princely state of Travancore. Here, you can immerse yourself in the rich history and grandeur of this regal abode.

To conclude our day, we will visit the local market, where you can indulge in shopping for the region's unique specialties. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere and discover the hidden gems that make Kovalam truly special.

As the day draws to a close, we will return to the hotel, where you can unwind and relax, cherishing the memories of this enchanting day spent in the paradise of the South, Kovalam.

Day 7: Transfer from Kovalam to Kochi for Departure

On the seventh day, after having breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and proceed towards Kochi. Once you reach your destination, you will be dropped off at the airport or railway station for your onward journey back home. Take with you the wonderful memories of your time in God's Own Country.
