Day Wise Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival at Guwahati (GAU) Airport / Railway Station

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station, you will be transferred to Shillong. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to visit Umium Lake, a serene lake surrounded by beautiful hills. Once you reach Shillong, check in at your hotel. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll around the renowned Police Bazar in Shillong. Enjoy an overnight stay in Shillong.

Note: Please note that sightseeing can only be included if the guest arrives in the morning.

Day 2: Shillong- Mwaphlang Excursion + Shillong City Tour

Embark on an exciting excursion to the Mawphlang Sacred Forest and Elephant Falls after a delicious breakfast. Afterwards, continue your journey with a visit to the renowned Don Bosco Museum (closed on Sundays), Ward's Lake, a picturesque spot in the heart of the city known for its beautiful garden walks and boating opportunities. Explore the serene Lady Hydari Park and marvel at the magnificent Cathedral of Mary. Enjoy an overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 3: Journey from Shillong to Cherrapunjee, Visiting Mawlynnong & Dawki

Following breakfast, embark on a drive to Dawki, a village inhabited by the Jaintia community, who primarily engage in fishing. The Umngot river, located here, is a renowned fishing spot for the villagers. The river is particularly famous for its remarkably clear water, so transparent that from a distance, it gives the illusion of boats floating in mid-air! The Umngot river serves as a natural boundary between Ri Pnar or Jaintia Hills and Hima Khyrim of Khasi hills, and a single span suspension bridge has been constructed over it. This bridge acts as a gateway to Bangladesh, facilitating significant export and import activities. If desired, you can partake in a delightful country boat river ride (additional cost) before continuing the journey towards the Bangladesh border.

Later, proceed to Mawlynnong, often referred to as the cleanest village in Asia and also known as 'God's own Garden'. With more than 80 households, this village exudes an atmosphere akin to strolling through a meticulously maintained park! At Mawlynnong village, you can ascend the 80 ft Sky Walk to enjoy a panoramic view of the village, the surrounding plantations, and the distant plains of Bangladesh. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to learn about the Khasi lifestyle, their culture, and their economy.

Another fascinating activity awaits with a trek to the nearby Rewai Village. Descend a flight of nearly 100 steps to witness the marvels of nature - a living-root bridge.

Day 5: Journey from Cherrapunjee to Guwahati

Commence your day with a delightful breakfast and embark on your transfer to Guwahati, where you will catch your flights or proceed to the rail station for your onward journey. As your trip concludes, cherish the wonderful memories created during your time here.

9. Any upgradation in hotel room category and airline class.
10. Cost of pre or post-tour hotel Accommodation.
11. Any extra expense such as route change, Date change, Accommodation facilities, etc. incurred due to the unforeseen, unavoidable forced majeure circumstances during the tour.
12. Porterage, laundry, telephone charges, shopping, wines and alcoholic beverages, mineral water, items of personal nature, and food or drink which is not part of a set group menu.
13. Any extra cost incurred on behalf of an individual due to illness, accident, hospitalization, or any personal emergency.

5. Only one extra bed/mattress is allowed per room. This extra bed refers to a mattress or roll-over extra mattress on the floor provided when a proper extra bed is not available.

6. If guests are unable to climb higher floors, please inform us at the time of booking so that we can take appropriate action and try to arrange rooms on the ground floor. However, this is subject to availability.

7. There will be no refund in case any of the sightseeing is missed or uncovered during the trip.

8. Please consult the driver or local representative for the next day's sightseeing schedule and transfer timings.

9. The vehicle is not at disposal, which means it is only for transfers and sightseeing as per the itinerary.

10. The price is based on the "Base" category of hotel room, airline seats, and ferry seats. This is irrespective of the package category chosen.

11. All hotel and transport rates are based on the current tariff and are subject to change without prior notification. Any revised rates will be charged extra.
