Day Wise Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Ahmedabad and Full Day Sightseeing

Upon your arrival in Ahmedabad, you will receive a warm welcome and assistance with your transfer to the hotel for check-in. Welcome to Ahmedabad, the historical capital of Gujarat. Our sightseeing tour begins with a visit to the Gandhi Ashram, which served as the residence of Mahatma Gandhi during his 12-year stay in Sabarmati with his wife and followers.

Next, we will explore the Hutheesing Jain Temple, a magnificent structure built in 1848 by the Hutheesing family. This temple showcases the new haveli style of architecture and was completed within a span of two years. Another architectural marvel we will visit is the Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, constructed in the 1570s. It is renowned for its intricate carvings of the Sidi Saiyyed Jali, depicting the Tree of Life on the right side of the building.

Our tour continues with a visit to the Sarkhej Roza, a mosque and tomb complex that holds great significance in Gujarat. It was once the epicenter of Sufi culture and is revered across the region. Here, we pay homage to Shaikh Ahmed Khattu Ganj Baksh and also find the burial site of Sultan Mehmood Begda, who completed the complex.

If it is not Monday, an alternative option for our visit would be the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Museum, also known as Moti Shahi Mahal. This palace was constructed by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in the 1620s. However, please note that the museum is closed on Mondays. It houses a vast collection of over 10,000 art and craft items, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the region.

In the afternoon, our tour will continue with a visit to Adalaj Stepwell. This octagonal-shaped sandstone structure exhibits the prominent Solanki architectural style. It is a five-story deep well, supported by sturdy pillars that date back to 1499. Initially used as a refuge for the people, it provided both spiritual sustenance and water.

Next, we will explore Kankaria Lake, Ahmedabad's second largest lake. This lake, artificially created in 1451, offers numerous waterfront public attractions. However, please note that these attractions are closed on Mondays.

If you wish to enhance your experience, there is an option to attend the Light and Sound Show at an additional cost. Following that, we can visit the Sabarmati Riverfront. This ongoing project constantly adds new facilities to its beautiful promenade, providing a delightful experience for visitors.

Finally, we will return to the hotel for your overnight stay in Ahmedabad.


Day 2: Transfer From Ahmedabad To Dwarka

On the second day of our journey, we will embark on a transfer from Ahmedabad to the revered town of Dwarka. Dwarka holds immense significance as one of the four sacred Hindu pilgrimage sites, known as Chardham, and is also recognized as one of the seven most ancient religious cities in the country, referred to as Sapta Puri. Our itinerary includes a visit to the Dwarkadeesh Temple, where we can seek blessings, followed by a purifying dip in the holy Gomti River. We will conclude the day with an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Dwarka to Somnath Transfer + Visit to Somnath Temple

After enjoying a delicious breakfast in the morning, it is time to check out from the hotel and proceed towards Somnath. Somnath Temple holds great significance as it is the first among the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines dedicated to the revered God Shiva. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and then embark on a sightseeing tour. Explore the sacred Bhalka Tirth, Triveni Sangam, Geeta Mandir, Chopati, and of course, the magnificent Somnath Temple. In the evening, witness the mesmerizing Aarti ceremony and later indulge in a captivating light and sound show organized by Gujarat Tourism. Rest and relax for the night at the hotel.

Day 4: Journey from Somnath to Ahmedabad

Following a delightful breakfast in the early morning, we will embark on our journey to Ahmedabad. Upon our arrival in the evening, we will proceed to check-in at the hotel. Later in the evening, we will have the opportunity to witness the captivating Pradarshani at Akshar Hall, followed by the magnificent Grand Laser show at Akshardham Temple Premises. We will then conclude the day with an overnight stay in Ahmedabad.

Day 5: Departure from Ahmedabad

On the fifth day of your trip, it will be time to bid farewell to Ahmedabad. Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel before we proceed with the check-out process. Our team will be there to pick you up from the hotel and ensure a smooth transfer to the Ahmedabad Airport/Railway Station, where you will embark on your scheduled departure. As you head back home, cherish the unforgettable memories you have made during your stay in Ahmedabad.
