Upon arrival at the International Airport of Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, you will be warmly welcomed by our local guide who will also serve as your chauffeur. You will then be transferred to your pre-booked hotel in Ho Chi Minh City for check-in. Enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Morning City Tour Of Ho Chi Minh City
Commence the day with a delightful breakfast at the restaurant before embarking on a morning excursion to explore the Independence Palace, also recognized as the Reunification Palace. Situated on the former Norodom palace grounds, this iconic landmark of Ho Chi Minh City was masterfully designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu.
Witness the enchanting French Colonial-era structures such as the Notre Dame Cathedral and the historic Central Post Office. Next, delve into the poignant history showcased at the War Remnants Museum, which offers a comprehensive display of the Indochina wars. DAY 03: Mekong Full Day Tour – My Tho– Bentre
On the third day of your journey, embark on a full-day tour of the Mekong Delta, starting with a departure to My Tho, a charming town situated on the left bank of the Mekong River. Upon reaching your destination, pay a visit to the Vinh Trang Pagoda, a historical site dating back to the late 19th century. Next, board a sampan and cruise along the river, passing by the picturesque Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise islands.
Make a stop at Unicorn Island, where you can stroll along country lanes, explore orchards, savor tropical fruits, and listen to traditional folk songs performed by local artists. Day 4: Cu Chi Tunnel Half-Day Excursion
Commence your journey by being picked up from your accommodations in Ho Chi Minh City. The bus ride to Cu Chi will last approximately one and a half hours. Prior to delving into the tunnels, you will view an informative video detailing the construction of the tunnels and how the Vietnamese people managed to survive in the challenging wartime conditions.
Subsequently, dedicate your time to exploring the various sections and intricate tunnel network, which includes unique living quarters equipped with kitchens and bedrooms alongside other military facilities such as weapon factories, field hospitals, and command centers to cater to the residents' essential needs. Additionally, the tunnels feature hidden trap doors and perilous traps strategically placed for security purposes during the war. Following the exploration, enjoy a serving of special tea and cassava (the guerrillas' sustenance during the war). Finally, return to Sai Gon.
Day 05: Farewell to Ho Chi Minh City
