Summary Of This Tour Package:
You will be picked up from either Guwahati Airport or the railway station, marking the beginning of your exciting journey. Nestled at an average elevation of 4,908 feet (1,496 m), Shillong’s highest point, Shillong Peak, rises majestically to 6,449 feet (1,966 m). Mawsmai Caves: Located about 6 kilometers from Cherrapunjee, these limestone caves are among the most accessible in Meghalaya, allowing visitors to appreciate the stunning natural formations within. Inside, you will encounter a fascinating array of stalactites and stalagmites, each uniquely shaped by years of natural erosion and the flow of underground water.
Seven Sisters Falls: Plummeting from a height of 1,035 feet, the Nohsngithiang Falls is the fourth tallest waterfall in India, situated just a short distance from Cherrapunjee. Named after the seven streams that cascade down the plateau, this waterfall is also referred to as Seven Sister Falls or Mawsmai Falls, in honor of the nearby village.
