🏨In the morning, continue your journey to Thekkady. By noon, you will reach Thekkady and proceed to Periyar Lake, where you can enjoy a boat ride (additional cost) in the sanctuary built around the lake. The lake spans an area of 12 square miles (31 square km) and is an artificial reservoir created by damming the river. Overnight stay in Thekkady.
