Day 1: Arrival in Osaka – Osaka Castle & Umeda Sky Building
Upon our arrival in Osaka, we kick off our journey through the Kansai region of Japan with the guidance of a professional English-speaking tour guide. Osaka is renowned for its iconic Osaka Castle, a historic landmark constructed in 1597. This castle played a pivotal role in the unification of Japan during the 16th century, serving as a battleground for rival factions on the island. Today, it stands as a museum that has withstood various calamities, including a fire caused by a lightning strike, and has been rebuilt multiple times. Visitors can delve into the rich history of Osaka, its feudal lords, and the castle itself within its eight-story structure.
Following our visit to Osaka Castle, we will enjoy a buffet lunch at an Indian restaurant before heading to our pre-arranged hotel for check-in. After a brief time to refresh, we will explore the Umeda Sky Building, a striking feature of Osaka’s skyline. This architectural marvel consists of two 40-story towers linked by a bridge at the top, making it the nineteenth tallest building in the prefecture. It offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city.

Additionally, it served as the retirement residence for shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu, who died in 1408, from a family that once held significant power in Japan.
Next, we’ll visit the stunning Arashiyama Sagano Bamboo Forest, a must-see for anyone visiting Japan. This breathtaking bamboo grove in Kyoto is cherished by both locals and tourists alike. As you stroll through the towering stalks, you’ll often see people dressed in traditional Japanese attire, adding to the enchanting atmosphere. Take your time to fully appreciate the serene beauty of this remarkable location.
Before we break for lunch, we’ll enjoy the popular Nishijin Kimono Show, a brief yet captivating 20-minute presentation. We are off to Nara to explore the iconic Nara Todaiji Temple, a significant landmark in the city. Known as the Great Eastern Temple, Todaiji is one of Japan’s most historically vital Buddhist temples, established in 738 as part of the Seven Great Temples. Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before boarding a bus to Hiroshima. The journey will take a few hours, providing ample opportunity to unwind and take in the beautiful landscapes as we pass through various cities. Upon arrival, we will visit the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, the longest suspension bridge in the world, stretching nearly 4 kilometers and linking Kobe to Awaji Island. Afterward, enjoy lunch at an Indian restaurant.
Next, we will explore the Atomic Bomb Dome, located within the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. This site was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996, commemorating the tragic events that occurred in 1945. Originally known as the Hiroshima Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall, it served as a venue for showcasing local products and hosting art exhibitions back in 1915. Following this, we will head to the Peace Memorial Museum, which chronicles the devastating impact of the atomic bomb that claimed countless lives. Many of you may recognize the famous floating torii gate, and we will have the opportunity to see this iconic structure up close. This unique gate is constructed over water, giving it the appearance of floating during high tide. Designated as a national treasure, it was also listed as a World Heritage site in 1996. The gate was built to coincide with the ebb and flow of the tides, revealing dry land when the water recedes.
After enjoying lunch at an Indian restaurant, we will make our way to Hiroshima Station to board Japan’s famous Bullet Train to Tokyo. Upon our arrival, you can savor dinner at another Indian restaurant. Finally, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in and an overnight stay in Tokyo.

Day 5: Mt. Fuji 5th Station – Hakone Ropeway – Lake Ashi Cruise – Japanese Tea Ceremony

Fuji 5th Station, specifically the Fujinomiya 5th Station, which is the highest among the five stations and a favored starting point for hikers due to its shorter ascent route. Next, we’ll head to the Hakone Ropeway, a scenic aerial lift that provides breathtaking views of Owakudani. This popular attraction takes about 30 minutes to reach, and during the ride, you’ll witness the mesmerizing volcanic fumes rising from Owakudani. On a clear day, you might even catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji in the distance.
Following that, we’ll visit Lake Ashi, a picturesque location perfect for photography. Don’t miss the chance to admire the stunning blue waters of this crater lake and soak in the serene atmosphere as you stroll along its shores, with Mount Hakone as a backdrop.

After enjoying breakfast, we embark on a Tokyo City Tour, beginning at Chidorigafuchi Park, a prime location for Hanami (cherry blossom viewing). This picturesque park features a 700-meter-long path lined with stunning Sakura trees and vibrant greenery along the Imperial Palace moat. It has become a beloved destination for both locals and tourists during cherry blossom season, attracting around one million visitors each spring.
Next, we visit Tokyo Tower, a prominent Tokyo landmark established in 1958. Standing at 332.9 meters, it is Japan’s second tallest structure and is often cited by locals as the most iconic building in the city. Afterward, we’ll enjoy lunch at an Indian restaurant.
Our journey continues to Asakusa Kannon Temple, recognized as Tokyo’s oldest and one of its most colorful temples. Constructed in 1649 by Tokugawa Iemitsu, this historic site is home to Kannon, the Goddess of Mercy, also known as Guanyin in Chinese culture.
Following this, we will make a stop at Tokyo Skytree, an impressive observation and broadcasting tower that reaches a height of 634 meters (viewed from the outside).
We will then head to the Sumida River Line to board the Sumida River Cruise. Experience the beauty of this river, which has played a significant role in Tokyo’s history, once known as Edo. The water is now crystal clear and beautiful, a stark contrast to its polluted state over 70 years ago when it was devoid of fish due to rapid industrialization. Today, Tokyo stands as the largest megacity in the world.
Next, we will visit another cultural highlight in Minamoto: the Odaiba Statue of Liberty. This iconic Lady Liberty was initially a temporary installation, brought over from Paris in 1998 to celebrate the friendship between France and Japan. Its popularity led to the construction of a permanent replica in Odaiba in 2000. Day 7: Comprehensive Tokyo City Tour
Following breakfast at the hotel, we will embark on a visit to the Imperial Palace in Tokyo for some memorable photos from the outside. The inner grounds are generally closed to the public, with the exception of the Emperor’s Birthday and New Year’s Greeting. This site was once home to Edo Castle, the largest fortress in the world during its era. Since 1868, the Palace has been the residence of Emperors and is encircled by stunning gardens, parks, and galleries that could easily take an entire day to explore.
Next, we will proceed to Tokyo Tower, a prominent landmark established in 1958. Standing at 332.9 meters, it is the second tallest building in Japan and is often regarded as an iconic symbol of Tokyo by locals.
Our journey continues to Ueno Park, a well-known public park that houses numerous museums. However, it is most celebrated as a prime location for cherry blossom viewing! During peak bloom, you’ll find groups of coworkers, friends, and families enjoying picnics beneath the trees, relishing the sight of the ground blanketed in white and pink petals.
Finally, we will visit Shinjuku Garden, Tokyo’s most popular Hanami (cherry blossom viewing) destination. This traditional Japanese landscape garden features serene ponds linked by bridges, along with beautiful rocks and shrubs. The greenhouse within the national garden showcases orchids and rare plants typically found in forests and jungles. Originally owned by a feudal lord during the Edo period, the garden is now managed by the Imperial Household Agency of Japan. After exploring the garden, enjoy lunch at an Indian restaurant.
Next, we will visit Sensoji Temple, commonly referred to as Asakusa Kannon Temple. This historic site is celebrated as Tokyo’s oldest temple and is one of the most vibrant in Japan. - All tours are scheduled to start at 10:30 AM and finish by 08:30 PM.
- The vehicle can be utilized for up to 10 hours, with a maximum limit of 11 hours.
- Hotel availability may change; if a booked hotel is unavailable, a similar quality hotel will be provided.
- The itinerary may be adjusted due to unexpected events such as bad weather or heavy traffic, and no refunds will be issued in these cases.
- Any extra hour beyond the designated time will result in a fee of USD 40 for the guide and USD 60 for the vehicle, with a maximum overtime limit of 1 hour (totaling 11 hours per day).
- Requests for double rooms are accepted but cannot be guaranteed.
- Indian lunches, dinners, and local meals are fixed and cannot be modified once confirmed.
- The remitter is responsible for any applicable bank fees.
- Coach and guide services are available for a maximum of 11 hours each day.
- In accordance with Japanese Law, all coach and guide services must end by 9:00 PM.
- The driver is required to take a 30-minute break after every 5 hours of driving.
- The driver’s working hours commence 1 hour prior to the agreed pick-up time, as specified by clients, and must not exceed a total of 12 hours.
